I am the 2nd Owner. First owner was a mom of several kids in Massachusetts. She had a ton of service done (I have the receipts). A lot of the service was tires, brakes, and required State inspections. Luckily there is not much body rust. I bought the van sight unseen on eBay from a dealer out there. It had a lot of issues not revealed by the dealer who bought it from her. I had planned on rebuilding the motor as it had 218k miles at the time so I knew it was due. It turned out that the head was cracked and not repairable. So instead I bought a German rebuilt motor from City VW in San Diego and had it installed at Cass Street Automotive. The transmission was also rebuilt at the same time with a new Transmission Control Module installed in the van. Cass Street also installed a Go Westy transmission cooler when they installed the motor. 3 full synthetic oil changes in the past 18k miles. If you don't know the Weekender, it's got the pop top with a bed and the rear bench seat also pulls out to become a bed. A table on the left side opens up and there are house lights on both sides of the rear and 3 12V DC plugs running off a separate battery. Sliding side windows have screens, and zippered windows in the top tent open for light or fresh air. My family has taken many trips in this van, including a stress free trip to Sedona in the snow. No chains needed! Has leather seats, front seat heaters (passenger disconnected for swivel seat), cruise control, remote key plus 2 more keys, the folding jump seat and passenger seat base in case you want to swap those in. The arm rests on the jump seat are both broken. I never noticed as I took it out the day I got the van. They can be replaced from any VW Eurovan seat as all the seats have arm rests. The pop top roof could use polishing and clear coat. A drunk person on a bike put a dent in the driver's door and in the body next to the door. My 3 year old son has done some damage. The leather seats aren't great. The curtains need some of the sliders replaced and a wash. The carpet has some sort of glue the previous owner spilled. I planned on installing magnets to hold the rear seat storage covers closed as the hinges were broken when I got it. I don't want to sell this van but we outgrew it. I've put over $20k into the van since I bought it 3 years ago. I am the second owner. Clear Title in hand. This VW Eurovan camper is in wonderful condition, with very low original miles—53,000. It has just been checked top to bottom by our local VW camper mechanical and restoration facility, here in Asheville, North Carolina, and the only item that is NOT working is the AM/FM radio—we have chosen not to replace it, as it is an easy install, and you may have preferences for radio features. I have a very rare and amazing EuroVan Camper For sale. This 2002 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper is in amazing condition with only 17,000 original actual miles. This campers almost like buying one brand new. So the story on this VW is it was owned by one family since new. On Carfax there are three owners but the first transfer was from a father to a son so it has been in one families possession since new. I came across this camper and bought it from the original owners and I was literally amazed. This van has been driven very lightly and very well taken care of. It has only been used a handful of times. The interior is literally like new with no issues. The canvas is in perfect condition. It's fully loaded with a three way refrigerator, two burner stove and sink. This camper can sleep 4 but perfect for 2 people. Everything works inside and out. It has ice cold air conditioning upfront and has heating front and rear that works great. The exterior is in almost perfect condition. Except for one spot right by the propane tank. Underneath you can see in the picture there is a little dent. Someone at a tire shop put the jack in the wrong spot and made that dent which bothers the heck out of me. Its not to the point where I felt it needed to be fixed. It wasn't ever reported two my insurance. Other than that there is one other small dent by the electrical outlet on the rear driver side which you can kind of see in the picture. Other than those couple exterior things it is in perfect condition. I don't want to sell this van I really love it but I didn't think too clearly before buying it. It was a big purchase for me and my wife. Recently We decided that it's just worth too much money for us to hold on too. For sale is a 2002 VW Eurovan Camper built by Winnebago. The van has less than 82,500 miles, SoCal location with a clean CARFAX. I am the original owner and have had all servicing done at my local VW dealer. I replaced both tops, canvas and roof shocks last year, the van has been covered and not driven since. The replaced tops are important value to to this sale because the larger top ($5000.00) is apparently not being manufactured as of September 2017. Eventually these roofs become brittle and will crack and cannot be repaired with any success, if you keep this van garaged or car covered you'll have a excellent roof for decades. The camper parts are in great working order with no issues at all.Included with this sale is an OEM optional third bench seat that allows for up to 8(?) people to ride. The bench seat couples to the floor between the rear and front seats. There is also a German OEM design enclosed cabana that creates an expanded living quarters. The nice feature with the cabana is it's freestanding so you can close the tent up and drive off and come back later without breaking down the tent.
